International Journal of Computing and Mathematical Modelling

About the journal

IJCMM publishes original research in computing, mathematical modelling, numerical methods, and their applications. The journal is peer-reviewed. The journal considers work in algorithms and scientific computing, mathematical modelling, numerical analysis, machine learning and computational statistics, optimisation, ICT systems and security, and applications in engineering, energy, health, economics, and environmental science.

Aims and scope

The journal considers work in algorithms and scientific computing, mathematical modelling, numerical analysis, machine learning and computational statistics, optimisation, ICT systems and security, and applications in engineering, energy, health, economics, and environmental science.

Typical topics include algorithms and scientific computing, mathematical modelling and dynamical systems, numerical analysis and simulation, machine learning and computational statistics, optimisation and operations research, ICT systems and cybersecurity, and applications in engineering, energy, health, economics, and environmental science.

Submissions should make a clear contribution to computing or mathematical methods and include appropriate validation or analysis.

Peer review

All submitted manuscripts undergo double-anonymous peer review by at least two qualified independent reviewers. The Editor-in-Chief makes the final publication decision based on the reviewers recommendations.

The process generally involves an initial editorial check for scope and completeness, followed by review by at least two independent specialists. The editor then decides whether to accept, request revisions, or reject. Authors may be asked to revise and resubmit. Accepted papers are copyedited before publication.
